Benjamin Franklin once stated, “You may delay, but time will not.” Time passing can be cruel, as it speeds by recklessly at times, leaving us breathless in its dust. Yet, time passing can also be a blessing, as its passage brings healing, wholeness and new beginnings. Recently, we had one of our writers and our neighbor lose their husbands within weeks of one another. As I lay awake at night praying for them, my heart breaking over their losses and their pain, I thought again about time.
